PPD42NS is a photoelectric sensor that detects the concentration of dust in the air and thus shows the quality of the air, using light reflection. The PM (eng. Particulate Matter) level in the air shows the amount of physical particles, and the label PM2. 5 indicates particles smaller than 2.5um.
